Alps’ Lip Balm* – 12 months

An ultra-nourishing and soothing protective balm with organic wild pansy, jojoba, beeswax, shea butter and sea buckthorn, delicately scented with vanilla.

Jojoba oil, very similar to human sebum, nourishes and softens the skin by maintaining its hydrolipidic film, activating elastin synthesis and slowing down water loss in cells. This oil organic-farming-issued oil also has a factor 5 equivalent natural sunscreen.

Beeswax enhances the lip balm’s protective and nourishing power, thanks to its vitamin A content. It softens, smoothes and moisturizes the skin through a protective film that instantly forms when applied and acts as protection against the effects of wind and sun.

Shea butter also provides protective action against skin dryness and healing action on chapped skin, by regenerating superficial epidermal layers. It brings the balm softness and smoothness.

Finally, wild pansy has healing properties and soothes sensitive skin by the action of salicylate derivatives contained in the plant.
